Each dollar contributed to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign goes directly to making YMCA programs and membership available to those in need and improving YMCA programs. Your tax-deductible donation stays in our service areas of Agoura Hills, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Santa Rosa Valley, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village. Strong Kids Campaign 2010
Goal: Raise $370,000
Each February, the YMCA holds a six-week long campaign which helps raise funds for the YMCA financial program. Strong Kids Campaign allows individuals, families, seniors and children the opportunity to be a part of YMCA programs and receive membership regardless of their inability to pay.
Last year, 2,720 kids and adults in our communities benefited from Strong Kids Campaign donations. This year the Strong Kids Campaign will provide more than $262,400 of financial assistance and over $583,000 in subsiding YMCA programs such as camps, preschool, youth sports, teens, families, and health & well-being.
